Bachelor’s degrees from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education with 5 years experience. In lieu of Bachelor’s Degree, desire minimum 8 years of related experience.

 

The scope of work is to provide asset management support for mainframe, mid tier, and desktop environments. A successful candidate will develop, enhance, and enforce the processes established for asset management. The candidate will prepare reports internally and externally identifying changes within the system and infrastructure. The candidate will ensure that the customer’s requirements are addressed and implemented in the reports. They will conduct audits of the various environments for data validation. The candidate will possess knowledge of asset management, asset lifecycle, and software licensing. They will have a complete understanding of technical principles, theories and concepts in the information technology field as well as general knowledge of other related business disciplines. Knowledge of information technology infrastructure library (ITIL) best practices is a plus. The candidate will determine and develop approaches to solutions. They will look at the integration of products as it applies to the infrastructure. They will work closely with other team members within the organization and with the asset management organization. The candidate must possess knowledge of Asset Management, Excel, Visio, Software Licensing, and a general understanding of asset lifecycle.

Knowledge of the REMEDY tool is a plus.

This is a mid-level position with the ability to demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills, and strong customer service experience. Experience with Windows 2000 / XP, VPN, remote desktop tools and MS Office 2007, including supporting Outlook messaging issues.

Typical Minimums:

5-10 years experience helpdesk.

4 BS Degree in CS or related field

A+ MCSE other certifications a must.
