TechPerm providing Scalable Staffing Solution to ARINC Managed Services, LLC (AMS) and the Vancouver International Airport (YVR), in Preparation for the 2010 Olympic Games
ARINC Managed Services, LLC (AMS) and TechPerm, Inc. teamed up on tackling the project of preparing Vancouver International Airport (YVR), for the additional passengers expected in February, when the 2010 Winter Olympic Games come to town. AMS looked to TechPerm specifically for their quick and reliable IT staffing capabilities.
Over the course of the project TechPerm has supplied twelve (12) technicians towards the effort and looks to add 3 more by project end. The TechPerm technicians have aided in the setup, installation, and configuration, of over 500 ARINC iMUSE™ workstations and CUSS kiosks. ARINC’s iMUSE™ product consists of tools necessary to administer the passenger processing process at airports; systems include peripherals devices such as IER boarding pass and bag tag printers, DESKO magnetic strip readers and keyboards, barcode scanners, and dot-matrix printers. The additional ARINC iMUSE™ workstations and CUSS kiosks will allow for easier passenger processing for both airlines and passengers during, expected increase in passenger traffic in February.

Supporting the Johns Hopkins University Desktop Infrastructure
The Johns Hopkins University is in the process of standardizing desktop configurations throughout its user community. The objective of this initiative is to converge on uniform, consistent computer settings on all SAIS PCs and the development of a core image and installation

procedures that ensure a stable, resilient computing work environment. Technicians working on this project need to possess an advanced, diverse skill set in various networking and computing technologies, including Active Directory Integration, Directory Account Provisioning and Administration, Internet Protocols and connectivity principles, profile migration and configuration, as well as advanced application installation and configuration principles. In addition, the technicians employed on this project need to have an understanding of imaging technologies and their implementation as well as the installation and configuration of peripheral devices such as printers, scanners and web cameras.
