The scope of work includes responsibility for:

·         Installation, termination and testing of data and voice Category 5e and 6 cable plant within all Baltimore locations

·         Additions, moves and changes of user voice and data locations

·         Installation of digital and VoIP based phones

·         Installation of copper and fiber cabling within facilities, to include  Data Center

·         Problem resolution with cable plant issues through the use of cable test equipment

·         Perform repairs on telephone units

High School education diploma or equivalent with 5 to 8 years cable management and telephone support experience.  Desirable certification, accreditations, training and experience may include BICSI Cable Installation (Level 1 Certification), Multi-Pair Infrastructure (Vision Technologies- BICSI Training), Berk-Tek OASIS, 3M Volition Fiber Optic Installation and SYSTIMAX SCS Installation.

Selected candidate must be able to lift/move object up to 50 pounds and be able to work within relatively confined spaces including wiring closets and raised floor data center environment.

Experience working with Trouble Ticket Tracking Systems such as, Remedy, is desirable
