Lockheed Martin Information Technology has sub contracted with TechPerm Inc. for Temp to Perm Staff augmentation services for the Centers for Medicaid and Medicare. Lockheed Martin Information Technology is responsibility for operating the agency’s main data center located in Woodlawn MD, and their server and desktop platforms nation-wide. The company will also manage, operate and maintain all voice, video and data communications networks including all local, wide and value-added networks. A full range of security and privacy services, help desk and desktop support, database management, web casting and web hosting, infrastructure management planning and disaster recovery planning and operations are also provided under the scope of the contract.

The Johns Hopkins University SAIS in the process of standardizing their HP desktop configurations throughout their user community engaged TechPerm Inc. to deliver project coordinators and technicians to make the refresh happen on time and on budget. The final result was a uniform consistent computer setting on all PCs, the development of a core image and a process of installation procedures to ensure a stable, resilient computing work environment. Technicians working on this project needed to possess an advanced, diverse skill set in various networking and computing technologies, including Active Directory Integration, Directory Account Provisioning and Administration, Internet Protocols and connectivity principles, profile migration and configuration, as well as advanced application installation and configuration principles. In addition, the technicians employed on this project had to have an understanding of imaging technologies and their implementation as well as the installation and configuration of peripheral devices such as printers, scanners and web cameras.

TechMart sale to Arinc
TechMart, was an IT staffing and vendor-management company located in Annapolis, Md. that was purchased by the Aerospace leader ARINC to form a new division called Arinc Managed Services (AMS). AMS was chartered to provide complementary performance-based staffing solutions and services to its parent company, Arinc Inc and their customer throughout North America. TechPerm Incorporated for over a decade has provided the recruiting engine behind the scene required to fill the positions required by TechMart which is now Arinc Managed Services. As a result of this successful relationship AMS was able to also offer their staffing solutions and services directly to commercial and government customers located within the Delaware, Maryland, Virginia and Washington areas and grow AMS into a 30 million dollar division of Arinc. TechPerm continues has the primary staff partner for AMS.
